Job Summary

The Channel Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with channel partners, including MSPs, VARs, distributors, and agents. This role focuses exclusively on driving revenue growth through the channel—building, enabling, and supporting a network of trusted partners who represent Axxess Networks’ portfolio of communications solutions.

The CAM serves as a trusted advisor to partners, drives joint go-to-market strategies, and ensures each partner is equipped for success. This role requires a self-motivated, relationship-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Partner Development & Management

  • Build and maintain long-term, profitable relationships with channel partners to expand market presence.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners aligned with the Ideal Partner Profile (IPP).
  • Develop and execute joint sales and marketing plans with partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide ongoing partner training, enablement, and sales support, including product demos and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns, partner toolkits, and verticalized GTM strategies.

Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy

  • Meet or exceed channel sales quotas per the Compensation Addendum.
  • Implement strategies to increase partner-led sales volume and conversion rates.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and track partner performance.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Monitor partner sales performance and provide actionable feedback for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of partner activities, deal status, and pipeline health.
  • Deliver regular reports to leadership on revenue, partner recruitment, and market trends.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Axxess Networks’ solutions and competitive differentiators.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities in UCaaS/CCaaS.
  • Represent Axxess Networks at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in channel sales, account management, or business development (telecom/UCaaS preferred).
  • Proven track record of exceeding channel sales quotas.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Technical understanding of UCaaS, SIP, PBX systems, and related communication technologies.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as required.
