Position Overview
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a critical role in driving Axxess’s growth engine. This position focuses on generating new business opportunities through outreach, prospecting, and early-stage relationship development. As the first point of contact for potential customers, you will represent the Axxess brand with professionalism and energy — introducing decision-makers to our advanced communication solutions and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations. This is a local position based in the Philadelphia area, ideal for a motivated, coachable, and relationship-driven professional looking to launch or grow a sales career in the technology and telecom industry.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Identify, research, and engage potential customers through cold calls, email campaigns, and social outreach.
- Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through Axxess’s CRM and outreach tools.
- Execute outbound campaigns targeting mid-market and enterprise prospects in key industries.
Qualification & Opportunity Creation
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand business needs, technology challenges, and buying processes.
- Qualify prospects and schedule product demos or meetings for Solutions Executives.
- Nurture early-stage relationships through professional, timely follow-up.
Collaboration & Sales Alignment
- Work closely with Solutions Executives and Marketing to execute strategic outreach campaigns.
- Share insights from calls and outreach to improve targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.
- Support sales enablement efforts by maintaining clean, accurate data in Salesforce and ensuring smooth handoffs.
Representation & Professionalism
- Represent Axxess Networks with integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism in every interaction.
- Communicate Axxess’s value proposition clearly, emphasizing reliability, customer service, and innovation.
- Uphold Axxess’s customer-first culture while promoting our brand as the trusted choice for business communications.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (tech, telecom, SaaS, or service industry experience preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a consultative, confident approach.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping businesses solve problems.
- Experience in outbound sales, phone-based outreach, or prospecting a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM and outreach tools (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
